Vintage SM300 Rubber Strap
Need suggestions for a rubber strap for my SM300. The OEM bracelet has a single snap clasp that is not secure enough for daily use, I've had it primarily on a NATO but if I get it wet in the shower or at the pool it takes 4 hours to dry so I'd like to get a rubber strap or another steal bracelet (not mesh) to put it on. Any and all suggestions welcome for a 20MM wide bracelet/strap.

Why not mesh???? Come on give it a try....you will love it!!
Other than the 1171 you already have, IMHO it is the only other steel band that belongs on this watch.

Lots of rubber straps out there..I don't think I can drop websites here but all you need is the horn width and go google...Rubber watch straps. As long as you know the size you can find it on those sites.

I'd either go Isofrane for rubber or a mesh bracelet. Both would look excellent.

I have a mesh on mine, omega original vintage not the new one, and it is the most comfy bracelet I have. I have hairy arms and not a single hair is pulled. Now if you just don't want one then look into the rubber B

Why it's not secure enough for daily use, Marc? I have many watches with the same kind of clasp and never had any issue. IMHO nothing beats the original bracelet.

I hear you all!! Yea Pete, the mesh is cool looking but just not my cup of tea. And Flavio, the bracelet is fine except that it comes undone occasionally and it makes me nervous. As cool as it looks, it's in fact not a very "substantial" bracelet if you know what I mean, I see it as getting caught in something and possibly breaking? Probably fine, but I'm just looking for an alternative.
Isofrane and Rubber B have been looked at I was just wondering if anyone had any experience putting them on one of these watches...
