Every time I hear about shootings, or terorists, or global warming, I think: “Boy I am glad I will not be around that much longer (relatively) because the world is going to hell.” Then, I hear something interesting and good mankind is doing. For example, I read about in the middle East they and China they are succesfully reclaiming desert, making it in to farm land and planting trees. In Japan, they discovered a bacteria that eats plastic, and will try it in the cess-pit area of the Pacific where all that plastic garbage is. So then I think, maybe we have a shot after all.

We do have shot Paul and in 2030 society will look back at 2018 and claim these times as a dark age spill-over of the 20th century.

I could when I was a kid. Now, I break out a rash just looking at it.

I hit it with some round up for poison ivy today. That should knock it back without affecting the live oak or the roses.
