Have finally made my trip and completed the purchase of a 14060 No Date No COSC Submariner. Its been long wait but well worth it IMHO. I have long wanted a sub, and the cleaner more simple No Date and No COSC of this watch fits my preferences perfectly. It has an "A" series serial number (ie. from 1999/2000), and looks in almost new condition too. I was able to have the watch verified and got a good price too.

Some of you may remember my original post about this watch - " Sub 14060 Weird Crown?! " http://rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=72814. From the photos below, you can see that the distance between the crown and 12 mark is normal. The photos I received and had placed on my original post had darker lighting, and the 'wire thin border' around the marker was not visible in the photo. This made the distance between crown and 12 mark seem unusual, and this has caused some concern.

I also discovered that my brother has a Tudor Snowflake Sub, and managed to take a few pics of it. It looks like it may have all original everything, and looks in great condition. Here's a pic with both the Snowflake and my new Sub. I will try to post more pics of the Tudor soon. I get backhome - in about a week. It's a 7016/0, and from around 1972.
