16660 1981 Seadweller

Hi guys

Just joined the forum.

Was hoping for some information with regards to the above model.

I have found a mint 16660 MK1 1981 Matt Tritium dials seadweller with box and papers for a reputable watch dealer, it has never been polish and all numbers are correct and has had a recent service from the rolex agents.

What is the price for a vintage as above.

Would appreciate some help here as I have the watch on hold.

Thank you.

Prices seem to be all over the place these days....I myself am not interested in paying the premium that box and papers seems to fetch these days....Box and papers use to add an extra 10 to 20% to the price of a watch....Lately I've seen people asking as much as 50% more for box and papers....In my opinion, that's insane.......I'd rather have recent Rolex service papers to be quite honest.....
A minty Matt Dial triple six.......$7000 to $8000 tops...............With box and papers......It's anyone's guess....???

Well.........

It's what's important to you.....I would rather put the money into a great example of a watch, then paper work......If you are a collector and plan on putting the watch away, maybe...But if you are like me and want to wear the dam thing, then forgat about the papers unless the price is very good...
Just my opinion...Good luck...
