No love for transocean moon phase?
I took a break from Rolex purchasing lately. A friend traded me this. I have to say it’s a very handsome watch. I’ve been wearing it for the last few weeks.
I blame it on the autoconnect. |

That's not just a moon phase, but a full calendar (or possibly annual calendar) and chronograph too. Certainly an interesting watch.
I had one of the first limited edition reverse-panda Transoceans soon after they came out, and while I kept it for a few years, for some reason I got bored with it quite quickly. Absolutely nothing wrong with the watch, but was just a little too...well, not sure really, but perhaps clinical - can’t really think of the right word. Anyway, in the end I think I might have preferred a black dialled Grand Premier which seems a lot less clinical. |

Thanks All. I guess it does have annual calendar. It’s my first complication watch (Rolex doesn’t make one ) so pardon my ignorance. I was told I only need to reset every leap year.
I blame it on the autoconnect. |

Funny u should say that. When I first saw it, I thought a nice croc strap would compliment it nicely. But this is an amazing mesh bracelet. Much better than even the omega one. Look how thick it is. I really love the overall quality of this watch. I blame it on the autoconnect. |

Those mesh bracelets are super comfortable. They almost feel like a strap.

I always thought Breitling dials were too busy, even cluttered. Then I came across the Transocean Chronograph and even though you wouldn't call it a simple dial, it struck me as being well laid our and aesthetically pleasing. I went with the rose gold bezel and brown dial. And you're right, the mesh bracelet is very comfortable. I've ordered a brown alligator strap from Camille Fournet, though, just to be able to change it up. (Don't know why the image comes up sideways.)

That's a stunner. I've actually been eyeing this one recently with plans on pulling the trigger. Love seeing the pics.

Love the transocean line, wearing my day-date on croc strap today.

I have also been looking at this watch. Other than aesthetics, are you happy with the movement and quality. I too like the bracelet, but have my eye on the croc deployment strap.

Moonphase with the blue face looks really good. There is one selling near me locally, waiting for the guy to drop it a little before I try to buy it lol.

I’m really pleased with mine. Didn’t even know it existed until a buddy offered it up when I mentioned I was looking at a Navitimer.
Despite being 43mm, it doesn’t come off as huge like a lot of other Breitlings.

Sorry for the late reply. Never had issue with movement. And the quality and finish as good if not better than Rolex or omega. I would advise to get the bracelet with or without the strap. I never had it on strap, hopefully others can chime in. But this is a very thick watch. Thin strap would make it too heavy and not balanced I assume. I blame it on the autoconnect. |

Not a big fan of Breitling’s in general, I find them busy, however the Transocean Chrono is absolutely stunning!
