Icon20 New Patek Philippe Twenty-4 (Ladies’ Collection)

Party Like It’s 1999: Patek Philippe Revisits The Twenty-4 With An Homage To The Original

"Two years ago Patek Philippe revamped its hugely popular ladies’ Twenty-4 by adding a version with a round case and an automatic movement. Today, it is launching two new models that revisit the original quartz, manchette-style Twenty-4 design, proving that all good things come around again. When it was launched in 1999, the Twenty-4 represented Patek Philippe’s first dedicated ladies’ collection, and it was one of the first watch models to combine steel and diamonds..."

Cool, but how many do I have to buy to get on a waiting list?

Really dont like those. Prefer the round case.

Nautilus 7118 still the best ladies option in Patek imho.

It's 15K for a quartz. Would you pay that knowing that:

"Patek Philippe quartz movements leave our work-shops with a rate deviation ranging from +127 to –18 seconds per year. Fluctuations in position, tem-perature, or air pressure, the presence of magnetic fields (as produced by most electronic devices, metal detectors, household appliances, etc.) as well as vibrations and other factors may also affect their accuracy."

Source

127 seconda per year is high considering what is possible with a quartz

^ Interesting. I wonder if they are being conservative with the listed specs as that’s pretty mediocre accuracy compared to a Grand Seiko 9F or a Breitling SuperQuartz. On the other hand, not sure buyers of this watch care too much about the movement.

I think there are some really great watches for women by Patek... but none of those are in the 24 lineup. These are pretty rough.

Seems foolish to buy this over the tank which can be had for a fraction of the cost and is the original design. Just my humble opinion.

As noted above Patek makes some cool ladies pieces but this doesn’t qualify.

4910 is probably the best selling Patek in history. I believe price started at under $5k USD when it was first introduced in 1999. After 20 years, it is a nice update, although they are not changing reference numbers. It is one way to increase price at neary $15k.

Whether quartz or automatic, the Twenty~4 is still a Patek and the Tank is Cartier. There is a significant price difference. Both are nice watches and admired by women. However they cater to a different watch buyer.

As a lady I would agree with this. Also, I wish AP and Patek would make more ladies models withOUT diamonds.

Yes one caters to people who know watches and the other caters to men who feel guilty for buying themselves a bucket of Pateks and leaving the wife out of the fun

I joke. I realize there’s value in the brand but this piece in particular is such a blatant tank copy it’s hard to ignore.

We complain a lot as men about watches not meeting our needs I can only imagine how frustrating it must be as a woman when the options are much more limited!

I saw these 2 pieces for sale yesterday at the AD. No wait list and no bundle required. You can have both at the same time.
