Incoming 5726A-001

Finally, it has arrived!

Will see if I can get that orange sailcloth strap from the salon in Geneva in a few days.

Watch looks great on an orange strap, even with my garbage picture taking skills.

Nice - got my one a couple of years back, I find it the strap adds a bit of variety to the my bracelet 5711s.

Interested to know how you get on with Geneva re. the sailcloth straps ... I was at my AD last weekend expressing interest in the new 5980 and they hadn't heard about Geneva offering those straps. They said they'd ask Rhone Products UK to see what they say.

Ordered one (350CHF). There are many colour available. I'm going to try orange first and see how it goes. To be honest, it is not so much as a sailcloth as I thought. Apparently, it is not swimmable either and has leather on the inside.
Approximate lead time was quoted 6 weeks. They don't send them to you either, one has to go in person and pick it up.
The orange one is called - Orange Plenitude.

I am also eyeing up the military green. It would look good on 5980 in rose gold too, if one is considering.

Thanks for the info - shame it's now swimmable but looks cool regardless and I guess there's RubberB / Horus for full rubber options.

I find it a bit odd that these aren't offered across the ADs or at least the Salons without people having to travel to Geneva but hey PP makes up their own rules!
