Come and Gone From The Collection

It took me many years to realize the difference between watches I liked opposed to watches I would keep. The photo I have attached are the recent watches that have come and gone but I took a look back to my earlier years as a collector and the total number is close to 40 that are gone.

Currently, I own 3 watches: Rolex Sea Dweller 126600, Rolex GMT Rootbeer 126711CHNR, and the Tudor Black Bay Bronze. How about your collection? Are there many that have come and gone and what are some of those? Regrets? The one I miss the most is the Tudor Pelagos LHD.

Have a good day.

I have some regrets. But I guess if I wanted one bad enough I could always buy again.

I offloaded a bunch of Panerai 526, Tuttonero, 352 etc, over the past 6-8 months and, am just about to unload a ExpII 40mm I’ve had for around 8 years in favor of a SD43 (trade) + cash. I then intend to consolidate further into probably a Aquanaut on rubber or a WG DD.

To each their own. I think that you made a fine reduction in your collection. At the end of the day if you are happy with each watch and they made you smile every time you wear it - then you've done well.

Come and Gone From The Collection

So far pretty much all incomings. The first watch I ever bought was a Tudor black bay black in house. I loved that watch but ended selling it once I picked up a 5 digit sub as I ended up reaching for that more and the black bay did seem super thick / chunky in comparison. That has been the only one to leave the stable at this point.

With what I have now in my collection, I do feel pretty content. I am still browsing the market but more just out of curiosity than jonesin for a new piece. I have 6 pieces in my collection

I have a 16610 that I love, a 16710 Pepsi for sale and just ordered an Orient Bambino Small Seconds champagne dial.
