I like the Caliber 240 PS IRM C LU in a Calatrava case.

I had to choose between the two before and the 5164A came out on top in the end.

I already posted on the subject but 5712 all the way, I love Aquanauts but for some reason not a big fan of the SS ones, they are very cool but doesn't have the WOW factor for me, whereas the RG ones does have it, there's just something about them... |

Second time around, I'd vote... 5164 again (particularly if you own a 5711).

Love both! Being an active person myself, I'd go for a rubber just because of the scratch factor involved. If I started out with no watches in either the Naut or Aqua, then I'd get both, but start with the 64. Have fun deciding, deciding stage is so much fun.

I was in the exact same situation and 5164 was in stock before the 5712. Boy was it hard to say No to a double sealed 5164. Eventually I decided on the 5712 with plans to add a 5167.

I own both and either is a great pick. If i had to get one-- I would go with the 5164. I travel a lot and it is nice to have the dual time zone. Both are comfortable but the 5164 can function in formal and in formal settings. I wear it hiking and more formal occasions. Again both are great

Which would you get, 5164 or 5712 steel?
I just came back from a trip to Hawaii. I brought two watches: my Blusey Sub on a rubber strap and my 5164. The 5164 is an amazing watch and can take what life dishes out!

I have the lower models and held/worn both the 5712 and the Aquanaut travel time. For me, it'll be the Aquanaut Travel time handsdown. It has a well balanced perfect dial and case, and the stealthiness is unsurpassed. |
