I feel just the opposite, simplicity at its best, would prefer max 40mm case size though.

That part was certainly not, but it was amusing how many of his threads turned into furniture talk, I presume after he won the lottery he bought a few furniture stores and was giving us a sales presentation.

And congrats on 5K posts Tony!

Exactly my thoughts Neil.

All of his posts were bizarre IMHO and how that thread went from brown boxes to furniture pics WAS funny. I didn't care about the rest of the thread to be honest.

I don't think he meant any harm. I put it down to cultural differences, he couldn't recognise a genuine offer for help without thinking he was going to get screwed over, he was overly anal, and ultimately he made a serious error of judgement.

I quite like it, although I'd be hard pressed to justify the price tag for a time-only steel watch on a leather strap if it really ends up over $30K. I'm crossing my fingers for pricing more in line with its peers in the current lineup.

For those that attended the London Exhibition, how did the allocation work? Do you just show up and put your name down? Or do you go through your normal AD? Or some other process entirely?

Thanks Neil

I was trying to save it up for something special, but unfortunately there was nothing in the offering. Oh well perhaps when I reach 10,000 in 9 years time

I got to agree with you on that.
Never in my widest dreams, would I have imagined it turning out like that.

Having read his numerous posts/threads and spoken with him via PM, this was also my view.

Now back to the OP's topic.

I like it:thumbs:
But I would need the addition of a date, to ratify my OCD.
Which, would rather spoil it I think.

At those production numbers and at that price do you all think t will be hard to come by or a piece that will float around for a bit?

Very interesting price, a larger production release would challenge the Nautilus for absolute dominance and as that is what Thierry says he wants that might be where to go with this watch. Make PP a two watch company.

Hmm, the price is very tempting... I might have to do it. With no date, the 324 can't have a sticking date window!!!

Karl I was asking because I think they made much more for the US market of these then I would imagine. Lower price point then I thought for sure. Each US dealer will likely get 7-10 pieces.

That's much more palatable than some of the guesses earlier. I've now got an inquiry in with my AD... This could be my next watch...

600 for the 'US market' is quite a few IMHO.

Inexpensive price point though, so we'll see.

A non LE would challenge a Nautilus albeit two different watches. I think this may give the calatrava a run. This or a 6000? Easy chouce for me.... I think PP did well with all there choices

We are in a global market...you think that an AD who can't sell to his local American client wouldn't like my cash???? This is a PP seller!!!

He might not...never know.

But yes, they will all be sold.

Just don't know how secondary will be on such a piece later on...should be interesting.

They definately didn't seem to mind this month!!! As the discount king and of course if you were ever interested (which you aren't) what discount should we be aiming for?

I think the deal was to have them retailed by American AD's, not just sold to American citizens, that would be crazy. The price point is interesting but as an owner of the 5524 I doubt it would get wrist time. I do think the secondary market for these will be strong and the price will be significantly higher than retail.
