I know a couple of people that are going on the Friday but I'm only a stickleback so didn't get an invite.

I just took them up on the large discount they offered me as recompense for the inconvenience caused.

Little disappointing we weren’t allowed to handle pieces but the museum world time was lovely.

They let us try what we wanted from the cabinets, that’s strange.

It was a great event, travelling on the Northern Belle was a brilliant experience and seeing the old museum pieces up close was remarkable.

Did you go on the Thursday or Friday? Maybe they got so much stick on the Wednesday that they changed policy.

No I went earlier in the week, we just have been the first few to go! I tried on pretty much anything I wanted which was nice. But then again you can do that at the Salon in Geneva

Lol. I loved the 5131, just not the engraving on the bezel. I tell you what if I get allocated the new one, I will ask them to chuck in a for you!

Lol. I hope U know buying a application piece is a life time commitment. I don’t mind that with the T stamps. But not sure the 5231j that’s why I turned it down twice.


Separately... diamonds are getting destroyed... inventory at a few mines are backing up about 60% inventory for the year...(like carrying 60% of the years sales)....thinking I can do an upgrade late next year and ask for a massive discount :). Plus an extra watch :)

Wow...turning down a Patek cloisonné dial from an AD. I would definitely like to know which AD then I may at least have a better chance to obtain one.

By the way, have you looked at Argyle diamonds...those are as hard to find as T-stamped Pateks
