Pam00203
A friend of mine has just been invited to Florence, by Panerai, to pick one of these up in person. I believe it is one of the most sort after, when he gets it I will see if I can get some wrist shots.
His collection is amazing and already includes a 1950, so together this will be an outstanding pair.

Well if he's picking it up at the boutique, he is paying MSRP of $23,800. 203's are distributed exclusively through the boutiques!

That is a tremendous honor, the 203 is a very, very special piece. A few other 203's have been released over the last month that I know of...

Now where did these 203s come from now ? From those 50 movements they kept as spares after the initial launch of 150 ? Or did they keep some back from those original 150 made ? Interesting ..........

Great watch, cool movement and some serious ties to the roots. But the selection process has turned more than one Panerai collector cold and towards other brands. I was not one of them that felt slighted, would have to sell my car and eat crackers for a month or sell all my other watches. But there were some very big and long time Paneristi that were left out in the cold.

But considering that the ones that turn up on EBAY and other sites sell for well over 100K, not a bad price at all.

Its only fair that the PAM 203 should go to the biggest collectors of the brand, everything considered. |
