Blue Dials: Lange vs Moser
I'm looking at both of these and remain completely torn. Which one do you prefer and why?

Some details...first is the Moser Endeavor Perpetual Funky Blue, 41mm white gold case, manual wind with deployant clasp. The second is the Lange 1 with blue dial (will be made for 1 year), 38.5mm white gold case, manual wind with tang buckle

Lange for me. The date window on the Moser is way to big in my opinion. And the Lange just looks right.

Tough one. I think the Lange comes out ahead for me. It would be more of a keeper in my mind. Although the Moser is also a stunning watch.

The Lange for that beautiful blue, better dial layout and smaller size. . . . did I mention that fab blue hue?

It's interesting, having seen both in person, I can tell you that the moser blue is brighter / more brilliant, the Lange is more subdued. Neither necessarily better, but different.

Moser is a pretty watch but the up - down marker and the mini hand are both kinda corny. The look of Lange dials is too folksy and sentimental for me, especially the fonts. Far too much writing to be truly elegant. Both watches look make a bit too much of their date windows.

Moser for me, in fact I've got a sky blue fume coming soon. When viewing some Lange / mosers recently I can say the mosers seem more fun. I have not seen a blue dial Lange though.

That is interesting. The size wouldn't work for me though and I've had to pass on other watches/dials because of that. Hope you end up with the one that gives you 100%

I prefer the Lange. I just love the layout and subdued color of that dial.

Moser for size and brighter blue. Really want a Moser Pioneer but no blue yet in white gold that isn't a LE.

Moser sky blue is a bit on the light side, not seen the Lange's blue but seems darker.

Nice to be able to choose for sure! You know I'm normally not a fan of the Lange 1 models, preferring the 1815's but have to say this one looks a lot better to me because of the dial color, crazy . . .

No contest for me, Lange 1 in blue is literally to die for...

Lange because it's darker. Moser's would pop too much under direct sun light

Definitely the Lange 1. Such a beautiful watch. The Moser is too big for what it is...a dressy watch - even though the dial colour is awesome.

Lange.
That Moser, the dial is not very appealing. I don't like the position or colour of the date disk, it should either contrast completely like the Lange (and be framed like the Lange) or match the dial colour exactly. It's neither. Generally, the only Moser I like are those with no marking whatsoever on the dials. Anything else just doesn't look right to me. Of course the Lange is a funky layout too but from a design perspective it just seems to work better. More pleasing to the eye for sure. |

I'm a big fan of those moser dials. Both are nice pieces, but I don't care for the white background on the Lange's date window.

Wow, closer than I thought. I find myself more drawn to the color of the moser dial, but like the overall size of the Lange better.

I respect Moser but have never been in love. With that said this particular Moser would be one of my favorites in their line. I have two Lange watches (timezone1 and datograph up/down) and the Lange is nice but not my favorite. So for me a toss up.

I’d select the Lange 1, hands down. A updated to a classic, already an icon timepiece with a heritage evocative of the original. Rich royal blue dial with an asymmetrical yet balanced design. You’ll find people asking you to take it off so they can look at it.

Great choice, I love Lange but do really like Moser as a dress watch and there are some models with a darker blue dial as well, but grey fume would be my first choice.
