Are the lug pins also Gold, or just gold plated, or SS? Thanks.

Screws on the 289 and 231.No idea,whether gold or plated.Will find out for you.

Gold is a pretty soft metal, I doubt they would be gold.

they are gold on the 197

but the screws holding the lugs are not.

and the lug pins on my gold rolex's are all gold as well. pure gold may be soft, but they dont use pure gold, rather they alloy it so it is quite hard.
