Which Butterfly on Which Movement?
Butterfly rotors were replaced in the early '60s by the current version, but they can still be found on some 1520, 1530, and 1560 movements. Here are the two versions of the butterfly rotor:
Was version 1 only used by Rolex on 1530 movements, or was it also used on 1520 movements? Was version 2 only used by Rolex on 1560 movements, or was it also on 1520 and 1530? |

My 62 5508 has rotor #1 and has a 1530 movement.
