5 yr warranty

If you go on the website to register your watch and warranty - it clearly states you get additional warranty totaling 5 years. Just did my 26331 warranty which I bought in July and I'm now covered until 2022. Score ! Just in case your AD doesn't know, they don't have to. AP website erases all doubt.

Sure it hasn’t always been like that and the site was still showing the old warranty period the other day so assuming it’s just a glitch while they update it all.

But at least it confirms the back dating and the requirement to register to get the additional three years onto the supplied two years from purchase

Yes, it confirms everything:
2 year warranty sold with the watch as before so no change
3 years additional for registering instead of 1 year
retroactive warranty for 2017 purchases if registered

I just went on AP site and re-registered my 2 44's which are 2017 watches and got conformation email showing 5 years as well on both.

I'm hesitant about that as i registered my 15400 twice because i thought it didn't work the first time and they both showed up in my profile for a long time before i finally got AP to remove one. I don't know why but it drove me crazy.

Do you have duplicate listings of the same watch now?

My 2017's still show warranty ends 0000-00-00, but my 15400 now shows that too and its older.

No - just one of each. The site doesn't show warranty dates all show 00's but got email confirming it.

I checked AP’s website after seeing this thread and my June 2016 15202 now shows Warranty Ends: 0000-00-00. Is that normal? Can it be that I am getting additional 3years too?

i doubt it. My older watches show the same as my new ones, all zeros. AFAIK its retroactive to 2017 purchases only

I purchased a Diver today and the AD salesperson told me the warranty was 5 years. I didn't even bring it up. He said they had just instituted it this month on new AP's. I will receive the watch Wednesday and can see how the paperwork explains the warranty (if it still requires to be sent to Clearwater, etc).

for sure it doesn't require that as they did drop that requirement (pressure testing) around the same time they stopped giving out a 3rd year sticker and moved to the online registration instead.

Congrats on the diver.

Thanks for your reply. Was hoping I got the 5 years too hahah.
Do you think eventually the zeros will be replaced by the right dates?
