I bought my wife a 1988 DJ and overhauled the movement and am getting similar results. It was probably the first time the watch had ever been serviced. 3135s are superb movements that stand the test of time.

My first Rolex, ‘sorry I parted with it - sigh ….
My most recent purchase (about 3 months ago) of a brand new Deepsea is keeping pretty good time though - only lost about 15 seconds whilst wearing it non-stop.

Can someone elaborate on this above point? I think I remember reading that the position of watch on the night stand affects whether it will run a little faster or slower? So, what are the guidelines? |

Much more reliable than the 32 series, I’ve owned many and they average about plus 3 or 4 seconds a day in my experience
