I would never sell the Daytona in my shoes, but what else is in your collection? If it’s only the Daytona I would not as the all gold sub is a littlemuch as a daily IMO

Just keep in mind with a PM Watch it’s not a daily wearer. Very soft. Plus All Yellow Gold is a bit much on a daily basis. Just my 2 cents as a owner.

If you decide not to, I would appreciate if you point the other guy in my direction. Have a ceramic Daytona that I would be glad to trade with cash for a full gold sub.

This. SS fares better as a daily.

I would do it. But that's because I personally like that watch a lot more than the Daytona.

Yes. There is nothing like a solid gold Sub. The sticky gold feel, the weight, etc. I'd get the gold and down the road get a steel replacement for the Daytona.

Don’t do it.. heavier and much more difficult to wear in all occasions like you do with the Daytona.. just my opinion, good luck

I was thinking of trying the same thing but for a yellow GMT. I think I agree with the people who say yellow gold is hard to daily.

Ultimately, although I lust to try a PM, the look of the Daytona case and the way it wears is irreplaceable to me. In a way it’s a simple watch, but I love it. I think I’d miss it too much. Even though it’s not gold, a stainless Daytona is a very special piece.

I prefer to wear the 116619 over my black daytona. Having had a YG DD40, WG is much easier to wear daily than YG.

When I first got the daytona, I thought I would enjoy it for a couple of years before trading up to something else, but it's really grown on me so I think it's a keeper.

It is really tempting though to be able to trade up and the thought occasionally crosses my mind, but yes adding instead of trading would be much preferred and the route I'm going to take.

I mean it's a beautiful watch obviously but a solid yellow gold Sub is just a totally different watch than a SS Daytona. Personally I just won't wear yellow gold. You have to ask yourself if you would be comfortable wearing it. Would you find yourself wearing it significantly less than the Daytona due to the gold bling factor? I know I would. Daytona can be worn just about anywhere. I'm not so sure that applies to the YG Sub.

This PM has that pop that a lot of other PMs don’t. It’s a classic and will always be. Solid gold sub will always be a great piece to own

I just bought a YG daytona and it was my first PM watch. I am in AWE every time I put it on. I have a TT submariner bluesy and I LOVE IT but now much rather have what you are contemplating. BUY IT :-)

FYI, its a lot easier to get the YG sub than Daytona obviously so....ya goodluck on your decision!
