Yeah, Carapaz is a great one too! but I like the flat bottom on the Everest which Carapaz doesn't have.

Gentlemen, please would you kindly clarify....what do you mean by the “flat bottom” of the Everest, and does the Carapaz have the same “slotted approach” as the Everest?? Basically, I’m interested in the watches being “suspended”...ie. the clasp side of the bracelet not touching the case...

Sorry to be so pedantic....

The Carapaz is cylindrical so it might roll because of the round bottom as opposed to the Everest that has flat surface on the lower side so it can sit on a table without the possibility of rolling. Both have the slotted approach.

I have a wolf and it’s nice but the Carapaz is amazing with the slide in/out design. I have 4 watch roll. Not sure if true but couple of post mentioned carapaz manufactured them for Everest. Def same design.

Just picked an Everest Watch Roll (3 Watches). Very impressed. The website says the roll accommodates 6.5 to 9.5” wrist size. Like sensui, I am about 6.375” and the watches hug the pillows snug at moment. I am hoping they compress over time, but can’t knock the quality of these things.

My Everest roll came in last night. The exact same one! My only concern is that I have to really squeeze the pillow in order fit the watches on the pillow. Is that gonna stretch or hurt the bracelet at all? Help plz!

Compress the pillows, put some packing paper over it, and use zip ties in the center where the watch would sit. Position the zip tie with the head underneath the pillow. Let it sit for a week or so like that and it’ll break in the pillows to make it easy to put watches over.

Read my Everest watch roll review where I cover this.

Good advice. Thank you. I just squeezed the pillows very tight and they’ve quickly already adapted to the smaller sized bracelet/straps I have. I can now close the watch bracelets and then insert the pillow the proper way.

Everest for the win.

It’s a good question so no worries. Love that ALS.

I have the same navy color, but in four count. The Everest is the best watch roll I’ve owned and I’ve had many! Supposedly it’s made by the same manufacturer as Carapaz, but with slightly different features to differentiate. In my experience Everest has higher quality leather and real suede interior.

There’s quite a big difference between Mirage and Everest.

The Mirage has a split grain leather coated with polyurethane. Nothing close to the full grain that Everest offers. Polyurethane leather doesn’t develop typical patina and will eventually crack/breakdown with time. Also, the pillows in the Everest are modeled after the Rolex ones and allow for a range of different sized bracelets (no muffin top effects on the sides). Lastly, the interior of the Mirage is mostly glued together vs stitched so over time with the pillow removal/reinstall the fabric pulls away. A good majority of the YouTube reviews go into further detail on this.

I will admit though it’s good value if you’re looking for something basic. With the price of some of the references we own on here, I don’t particularly mind spending a couple hundred on a quality watch roll. Buy nice or buy twice as they say.

This YouTube video shows you...flat bottom means the watch roll won’t roll.

Best I’ve used is definitely from Phase de Lune with its combination of quality/protection. Actually selling a new (3 watch model) on the forum right now.

Everest is cool, but I strongly dislike the blunt ‘EVEREST’ across their models, really wish they’d simplify to a logo only, ruins it IMO.

Lastly, I love my LV Taiga if I’m only carrying two watches. I would never carry 3 though, due to the lack of division and it being a single cylinder in the middle to carry them.
