The more I wear this watch, the more I love it...

...going backwards is like going forwards with Panerai. 1A, from the first series in the Post V era. Love the T dial and the patina.

Every time I see a picture of one I cry know that I cannot have one.

But then I smile when I remember the reason I cant have one is my soon to be first born son!

I used my son as an excuse to buy one that would be his one day, then I flipped it for something else, LOL!!

Congrats on the impending child, better than any material thing, just the best!!

Where in big D are you at? I just left Richardson and moved to Austin in January.

Me too, especially the ones with Tritium instead of the newer ones with Luminova. I also like this strap on the watch, it is a 26mm strap in 24mm lugs.

I'm in north Irving (Las Colinas). I really want a watch I can pass down to him, but most watches that I know will last that long are out of my price range.

There are many things that will make you forget about watches when he comes, the middle of the night wake up calls and the times when he is just smiling and cuddling with you. The first one sort of sucks, but the second one is the best time in the world.

The watches will come, but the family is most important m8.

I think those Panerai are super looking as much as I like the hell out of these Rolexes. I just might put one on my list for the next watch I buy. Torneau in my area can't keep them in stock.

Classic Daren.

waltk1026, Panerais are addicting. I don't have one now, but I had a bunch in the past.

Wow, Daren...that 26mm Ammo strap looks INCREDIBLE on that watch! Hmmm, a 26mm strap on 24mm lugs, you say?

Did you just try a beefier 26mm strap on your own, or did a good friend tell you to do that? Like, for the last two years?

Seriously, that's a great watch Bro! I know that one makes you smile...

Cheers,
JC

Yeah, that same friend saved me more than a few dollars in getting this new GMT shipped out of state then back in. A true friend through and through!!

And because of you I now know that 26 is the new 24, LOL!!

Great looking Pan you have there!

You will never love anything as much as your son.

Course when I went on a watch buying spree, I told my wife one day I'll give my boy at least one or two.

I have to say I absolutely love the look of that watch that is pictured. Its got a good macho look to it.

To our new friend, Explodingtaco,

If you think a watch can make you smile, just wait until they put your newborn son into your arms! Nothing, I mean NOTHING will EVER compare to that instant. Just be patient, save your change and one day he'll inherit something very special from you, I'm sure. Congratulations on the new arrival, and the next one, too. BTW- we want photos of both when the times come.

God bless!

Jamie
