Anyone got the new 44mm Steel Camo yet?

Am thinking of getting one to replace my 44mm steel panda. What are your thoughts?

Seems there are several out there readily available. I really like this one at first glance but I just feel it's too much of a novelty, no pun intended :), and would get old fast. I do wear camo often so might work for me longer than most but many other things on my list that I think would be worn much more often and for many years.

From where I am from, there is a 4 months wait list for it. It must be popular although I have yet to see one in the wild. They do come with 2 straps.

Two on this site alone that have been sitting for several weeks and eleven on Chrono24. 4 Months is really nothing is the scheme of wait lists. I do like the strap swapping options, seems a few colors would work with it.

Saw one in ginza couple of months ago and one in Beverly Hills. Looks much better in person than in pictures to me

Seen a couple and did nothing for me but can see how they might be popular to some.

What I don’t understand is I’ve been told it’s a production model and the AP site seems to agree yet a few I’ve seen listed for sale use the terms such as ‘sold out’, ‘sold out edition’ and ‘limited edition’

Not for me. Im not a camo person plus even if I was the novelty factor would wear thin pretty rapidly. Then I have a $40k watch just sitting gathering dust.

Looks a fun watch and good as part of a ROO collection. The yellowish parts might make the camo strap work on my RG.

It would be a fun watch as part of a larger collection.

I don't understand the appeal of this piece, nor the current market pricing. 40K for a niche stainless steel piece like this? So many other ways I would spend that money. I am clearly out of touch.

Yes, I read list is 31k. But many sellers and chrono24 are selling at 40k.

The only reason I can think of is demand outstripped supply and there is a wait list to get one.

I imagine it’ll be much cheaper in 6 months; it’s not limited is it?

It’s badass in real life.
Not every watch has to be a black/white/blue dial with a metal or black bezel.
