Hello all and thank you for having me! I'm excited to be here!

I'm a long-time watch enthusiast, and I've just procured my first Rolex.

I fell in love with the Air King 116900 and after a few trips to some AD's, I finally found one! I picked it up and couldn't be happier with it. While I've noticed that this seems to have a polarizing dial, I find that the watch is a nice blend of professionalism, sport, and uniqueness. I love the traditionalist nature with it's splash of intrigue - it's bold, non-standard, and cool.

Congats! The AK is a nice watch. IMHO it is often underrated.

Thank you!! I agree entirely! Rolex doesn't make a single bad watch. I've snapped a couple of nice pictures of it already.

The more brands I research searching for other watches to collect, the more their features or styles or sizes just do not do it for me.

Some of that "stuff" out there is beyond hideous.

I keep coming back to Rolex/Tudor and now have a short list of their models for which to strive.
