Stopped at my local AD today....

during conversation regarding supply/demand of Rolex watches AD said: "Rolex cut production of they watches to 600K per year"
When I asked where this info coming from, reply was: "From the horse's mouth". I don't want to spread another rumor, just delivering my AD's words.

Your AD doesn't know squat -- and I mean that in the nicest way possible.

Literally a horse must have said that lol. Completely absurd. Just about everyone with a decent relationship with their AD has reported increased production.

I heard they are in rising production of the day just so by 500k as they are a best seller
They are reducing the subs and gmt to the levels of daytona stainless which is 4 units a year as they are not selling and they are going to stop the hulk as it's no longer a hot model..this no hulk production will be put towards the Air-King which will become the hot model of 2018 Christmas and triple in price...... so it's said by all ADs

I'm sure ADs want this put out as the reason why they aren't supplying customers now and profiling them.

After lurking on this forum for several months, most come to understand that AD's are not the best source of information. My particular example supporting this was when a local AD said another local AD (competitor) was being shut down by Rolex for allowing discounts. About a week later I visited said AD and mentioned what I had heard. Their response was "bovine scatology". Just sayin.

Because every company’s endgame is at the pique of sales, to slow down and make less money
