I was contacted this morning by 2 separate people from TRF indicating that my information was provided as a reference from a member that I had purchased a watch from them and that I would give them a good reference.

For the record I HAVE NEVER MADE A PURCHASE ON TRF!!!! Anyone that uses me as a reference is not being truthful. I have made contact with many members and I have had great experiences with each and every person that I have spoken with. Again I cannot give any feedback for anyone regarding a purchase because I have never mad a purchase from this forum.

I have dealt with DAVIDSW in the past, but not for a purchase of any kind. They are very good to deal with.

It happened to me around a year ago. I reported it to the mods and the sender was banned.

I received an email this morning saying the same thing. It said I have a PM checking a reference for a Daytona for sale. There were no PM's in my inbox. The email is from user name Han2Han

Same here. User "greatstate1" in Dallas sent me a PM this morning and said a potential seller of a Daytona had suggested contacting me as a reference. He included a suspicious link, which I did not click on. I flagged the PM and now in appears greatstate1 is no longer on the TRF member list.

I've been contacted by scammer via email and phone number multiple times this past two months. It's getting out of hand. ugh.
