so a bit off topic, but out of curiosity is there any way to tell specifically what watches are applications pieces and which ones are not? Clearly my AD would tell me if inquiring about a specific piece but it would be nice to know ahead of time if it is or isn't.

I know a lot of the grand comps and such are, but others i am a bit more fuzzy on. For example is the 5524? I have never heard of one just being at an AD, but that could just be due to low production and high demand.

I don't think so. Certainly if you ask your AD they will tell you. The 5524 is not an application piece. For regular complications I think only the 5131 and 5180 are.

It's quite dark. The skyline is detailed and is the same "view" as the enamel minute repeater WT.

There is limited interest which is why it will be easier to get..more expensive / a complication not sought by many and I guess the only person who wants a Nay skyline is someone from New York!!
