Planning a trip to the Northeast....where to go for watches?

Hello gang!
I'm planning a family trip to the Northeast, visiting several colleges with my son who will be applying to college next year. Wife and daughters will be coming along of course.
Among other places, I'll be spending about 3 days in Boston and about a week in New York (Manhattan). While in New York, I'll definitely be visiting the Tourneau store, but I was wondering if there are any other nice, large, watch stores or boutiques I should be visiting while I'm there?
Any watch stores worth visiting in Boston?
Any input is appreciated. Thanks!!!

Abdon

The Tourneau store in NYC on 5th Ave is actually a great place to browse even if the prices are ridiculous. You will have a hard time finding anything less than MSRP on 5th Avenue period but that's to be expected. As someone who is usually nauseated by Tourneau, I actually found the staff when I was there this past fall as very friendly and non pressuring. Wempe was also nice but the staff wasn't as friendly or welcoming as Tourneau. Others on here have had different experiences so my experience is by no means the rule. Definitely make it to the Rolex boutique, kind of cool seeing a wall of Rolex. Datejusts and Day Dates are kept in the regular cases we are used to seeing.

European Watch Co on Newbury Street in Boston is always an interesting diversion.

While in NYC be sure to visit Wempe (both shops), Panerai, AP, Omega. All are a short walk from Tourneau.

This.
Albert will make a deal, and will treat you right on trades. He is sure to have somthing you can't live without - and the help is easy to look at.
