World’s largest GS boutique is now open...in Paris

Two new Place Vendôme LEs (dials to evoke a Parisian street cobblestones):

38 000 € (SBGK011G) - platinum
28 000 € (SBGK013G) - pink gold

10 each.

Those are stunning. Not sure about the green hand, or whether they're nicer than the regular models, but stunning nonetheless...

The column is the inspiration for the second hand:

Very nice, although GS do themselves no justice with those rather flat images.
Does the star represent the boutique's location relative to the column?

Better late than never, I finally had the chance to visit the boutique. Great selection with some really beautiful pieces.

Yes, I tried some on.

No, I didn’t buy anything.

The SA enjoyed checking out my SBGE249. He hadn’t yet seen one.

Hi all. I was in the neighborhood and couldn’t resist stopping in to see if they had the White Birch.

It’s a really stunning piece. Refined and yet also robust. The dial is better in person (not “too” birch tree) and “80 HOURS” is barely visible. The movement is gorgeous.

I also tried on the quartz 60th anniversary and was really impressed. The colors are fantastic, the lugs and bracelet are great and the bezel is great.

That boutique must have a high ceiling to fit the Vendôme Column inside...
