What are those kits?
I know the first one with the model Submarine was the SLA017 but what are the other 2?

SLA025 & SLA033 respectively. He'll have to explain the 2nd watch in each set - I suppose an additional safe queen...

Thank you sirs.

A submarine came with the SLA017, a knife with the SLA025 and a flashlight with SLA033.

The other watches are the original issues.

No safe queens here. All six pieces are part of the rotation. Just a long rotation queue.

Looking at the SLA033, they still appear to be available and I’ve managed to get the chance of one with 15% discount with little pushing.

Still on the fence though, I thought they would of sold out fast but they don’t seem to be as popular as the other 2 reissues.

I really love the look of them, what is the opinion of those who own them from a quality and value standpoint?

Convince me guys

Alright folks...I didn’t think I’d be a member of the club this year, thinking I’d have to wait to get it in the second hand market. But my trilogy is complete!

And the other 2

I want to thank everyone who’s enabled me for the past few years. I really couldn’t have done it without you all!

The SLA033 took up a lot of wrist time as of late, but really glad to have this beast back in rotation!

I’m in love with my 025... it was the first of the reissues that I bought. It’s so solid on the wrist.

When I look at this thread it immediately makes me regret selling my SLA017! :(
On the other hand there are so many amazing shots to enjoy! :)

I really like the red dot on the seconds hand in this pic

Where do you guys pick these up?

The only AD in town is Macy’s I think, but all they have is turtles and samurais

All three are special editions released in 2017/ '18 /'19. You may still be able to find the latest (SLA033) but you'll need to find an online retailer (preferably one in the U.S. to avoid customs issues etc.) There are Seiko Boutiques around the U.S. although they certainly won't ship (AFAIK) but you might consider making the trip (for other reasons). Miami has a boutique and a great excuse to warm up a bit...

Alternatively, hunt one down via a general site like Chrono24. There are plenty of U.S. dealers / private sellers using this (or similar) platform(s). Best of luck

The SLA033 is selling for around retail and upwards on ebay at the moment, maybe with a voucher/coupon you can get a decent discount.

I think retail in Australia for the SLA033 was AUD$8,000.
Retail in the USA was US$4,250

Thanks wasn’t too keen on the bracelet when I bought it ,& had it on a tropic strap which I really liked until 2 weeks ago . But thought I would try it on the bracelet one day & it’s so much better than I expected, so it’s staying on the bracelet for the time being
