Looks like going to be a little longer to get this .... my dealer said will get it but the popularity is growing by the week and just Like me I said no to a rubber strap and other people aswell but once they see it the mind is changed forever lol ! He said he has got a lot of requests for this model than followed by the everose .. he said two more requests on this model and they are shutting down the interest for a while as they would only able to meet demand for more this and next year !! 2-3 of these models a year max he said !

I was also told they get 2 -3 models per year. I was quoted 12 months but said it would come early if I buy "other stuff"

Big fan! And love the oxymoronic nature of the rubber/PM combo.

Love it, but white dial 116500LN comes first on my list.

Love the watch but they should always make the bracelet to go with it.

it’s because the Steel version is so hard to come by. not the easiest model to get rid off in the good old days

I just flat out wanted one. I had never owned a Daytona, despite trading dozens of Rolex.

If the SS white dial was $26, no way in heck I was gonna pay that (no AD connection to get one). So, I got this from my AD. I have other PM, so the watch makes sense for me. If I had no other PM, I would have wanted it on a full bracelet. PM is magic, on the full bracelet.

I don’t know if it’s hype or not. To me, it’s a good looking watch and that’s why I bought it. We all have such varied tastes. Speaking of tastes, I love cooking with it. I’ve always used a bezel to time things. But I really like the chrono timing complication.

Cheers.

Grilling tonight.

This reference on a WG bracelet would be amazing.

Curious, would a WG bracelet fit?

Knowing Rolex though... there is probably a slight difference and it’s not possible.

I don’t care about Daytona’s, but WG with plastic? How cheap is that approach?

I don't know much about the hypes on it, but I am a big fan and I think that Daytona WG is not just a beautiful piece but also a great watch.

Speaking for myself I never buy what todays age call hype watches,I only buy watches that I want to own and wear. So not a huge fan of the modern Daytona or precious metal watches, like my watches just plain old SS.

It is absolutely stunning, what’s not to like? The only thing is I just can not get in to the oysterflex bracelet. Some wearers swear by them and more power to them, but IMHO, a high-end watch should have a metal bracelet. No offense to those that prefer they flex, but it’s just not for me.

Best Daytona and good value vs steel on grey which only 1% have a chance of getting. Picked mine up in December.

I think the rose gold with chocolate dial is the best looking oysterflex Daytona. but this one is really not bad at all.

Best looking Daytona dial IMO. However I’ll never understand the appeal of white gold. I wish the SS version had this dial option.

Sick watch! I love rubber straps, but do understand the hesitation on spending this much dough for a NON-pm bracelet.

Looks good but I won't be able to read the time at a glance, the chronograph function is even less legible. So, not fit for purpose as far as I'm concerned (utterly pointless more like it).
