5167R or 5167A
If you have the chance to purchase one or keep one, which would it be? I am down to these two models and am having a difficult time deciding which to get. Can someone help me?! I would be rotating with a steel daytona 500 and a black sub 114060.
Thank you! |

It makes sense to bring some color to your collection, 5167R

5167A is more under the radar. 5167R pops more. I would go for the R.

I’m fortunate enough to own all the watches you’ve mentioned. If it were me, I would add a 5167A. The 5167R is a beautiful watch and although not full rose gold, it does however attract attention. It’s a pleasing weight and the brown dial plays well with sunlight.
The 5167A is understated and the most comfortable watch in my collection. It’s also the most versatile. I wore it for my wedding in Cyprus on the rubber strap! Best of luck deciding. |

Naw , has to be the R . I had a 67 R and sold it to get 5990 . Missed it so badly went to gray mkt and got a 64R - love it - subtle elegance - brown face is phenomenal. Get the R - you won’t be sorry! Just mo , james in San Antonio Tx:-)

A all the way. The market value on it is substantially better than R and should tell you something.

the rose gold is definetly a good option if you don't have other option.
if you have the chance to choose between the two and get anyone, i would go for the steel for sure and add color to one of the other watches like trade-in the sub for a two tone sub. i felt the steel aquant and it feels perfect in terms of comfort on the rest and weight. not sure the rose gold is much heavier but it might be just a bit. if you could also get the white gold one then that would be even more interesting

I've owned the 5167a. Twice. It is a bit bland. I'd say go for gold.
