M Serial Number
Is Rolex still shipping new M Serial numbers from the factory? If not, how long can I assume an M serial number has been at the AD store?
Thanks, Shark |

Rolex would not be still be shipping the M series now...These are watches most likely still in stock at the AD.....M was still made up to the middle of 08' or nearabouts..! V is the current production run.... Hope you enjoy this place as we all do!!!! Rob.

I say yes...they are still making M models right along side the V models... Rolex has almost always had 2 or more serial prefixes in production at the same time....... They were making Z's and M's in 2008, and they are making M's and V's in 2009...........and will be into 2010...

Thanks for the replies. I've read that the M is 2007-2008, as the V started in Aug 08. I was at the AD today and the watch in the case was an M. Was wondering if they would deal more on an M model since it's older. However, based on your replies I guess they would not since it could be as new or newer than a V.
Thanks again...this is a great place. Shark |

I would actually think it would be better if Rolex completely does away with the prefix and goes to simple numbering with maybe a letter or 2 in the sequence..... Just a thought!!!
