On appeal, well...that’s a subjective item only you can answer.

Me? I’d do it since the Kermit is a classic and will only grow in meaningfulness over the years. The Daytona-C is just a sliver of ceramic pressed onto a bezel - not especially meaningful - and a Disco Danny demand grabber.

Ok - flamers will flame

“Vomit” maybe a touch harsh...but I agree with the context...it’s just a Sub with a green bezel...so what? Daytona all day long. Don’t get me wrong love a Sub but is a green bezel that interesting? Not for me but everyone’s different and it’s your cash.

Daytona C exchanged for Kermit who would do?

...... so, OP, seems that the consensus here is slightly leaning towards maybe not a good idea, but the key question is - what’s your decision?

Keep the Daytona. Imagine what it will do when they discontinue it.

I would do it any day.
The flat 4 Kermit is the most collectible watch of our era and will most likely cost 3x more than the daytona in 10 years.
Additionally, it looks better to my eyes.

I would, you cam always buy another new Daytona, but not a discontinued 2004 Kermit Flat 4 mint full set.

Yes, I would do the trade if he includes $10,000.00 cash with the Kermit!

Wouldn't trade the Daytona even if I was getting both old and new Kermits.

Yup...wouldn’t consider it. I collect to wear and I’m just not a fan of Kermit.
