First Incoming

Well after many years of Rolex/Tudor collecting both vintage and modern - today I crossed over to PF and am elated. I did let go of quite a few watches that I just wasn't wearing, but feel pretty good about thinning the heard.

I was struggling between the 5712 or 5711, and in the end the cleaner dial of the 5711 (I don't really like moon phases anyway) and better water resistance won me over.

Thank you to Jewels in Time in Boca Raton, I dealt with Ivan there and everything went smooth as silk.

This is a new in box 2020 model with the hacking movement which I also like.

Looks amazing. It’s hard to beat PF but I’ve heard PP is also the real deal.

you cross to the dark side, go back to rolex vintage :) with me, its the other way around. I started and still collect PP but delve into the rolex vintage starting with 1675, 1680, 16520R and maybe a 6263 someday.

A real gem for your first PP! Amazing!! Must have had a really really good relationship with your AD to grant you that as your first PP purchase!

Jewels in Time is not an AD; they are a grey dealer :). Here's their Patek Nautilus listings.

Regardless of where OP sourced it, huge congrats on an amazing watch! Enjoy in good health and hope it brings you many many smiles and happy memories.

Good that OP is not wasting time with the AD in order to get the 5711......
