New OEM bracelet for 16750
My 6M serial#16750 came with a Submariner bracelet. I thought it was swapped from an actual Submariner but Giovanni at the SF RSC showed me a Rolex catalog from the early 80s and indeed the sub bracelet came as an option for the 16750.
I want the common Oyster bracelet from that production period. Does anyone know the bracelet number and the end links? Also would the NYC RSC sell the bracelet (new I suppose)? Don't know if they have NOS bracelets from that far back. I would be ok with them taking my Sub bracelet and me buying a new bracelet from them. Thanks. |

Probably the best reply you will get from NY RSC themselves

Your looking for a 78360 with 580 ends. The bracelet code for 1982 is G so depending on the age of your watch the code should be in this range. The bracelet code can be found on the clasp. If your 93150 is original to the watch you’ll know exactly what code your looking for.
I think Rolex will sell you a new one if you bring your watch in on a strap. If you bring it in with the bracelet they might require you to trade it in. They are common bracelets so try posting a wtb on the forum. |

Thanks. I noticed my sub bracelet has a code F on it. I would assume it's from that same period then.

Your best bet is to take the watch head without bracelet attached into the RSC and ask to purchase a new bracelet. They'll likely give you options between the 78360 and 93150, so you'll want the 78360 for a standard Oyster. At best they'd only give you $200~300 credit by trading in your original 93150, and at that price you should hold onto it since it's an 'F' clasp code and period-correct for your watch.

Pictures of your current bracelet? A restoration is a option.
