Does the 16202 fit my wrist?

Hi guys,

had the pleasure to try on a 16202or today. Wonderful, wonderful piece. Tried on a 15202or years ago but forgot to take pics then. Always remembered I thought it was pushing the limits then, but didn't have the ability to check. Since trying the 15202 on I gained a few pounds, but my wrist is still a pretty flat 6.5 inches.

I'd really appreciate your opinion on fit for this piece. Of course it won't be happening from AP anytime soon, but who knows how things will develop in the coming years.

On the wrist it was great, though again I felt it was pushing the limits a little. Apart from a few GS and a 36mm Datejust, that I wear regularly, I have a 5164a that is fine imo.

Attached for your reference a wristshot, a bodyshot and a wristshot of my 5164a. Sorry for the horrible quality on the bodyshot. What do you guys think? Does it work on my wrist well enough to pursue this for the forseeable future?

Also tried on a 15550 again in silver - dual tone case however. Been on the list for a silver 15450 for quite some time, so this might actually happen sometime, who knows. You got to start somewhere. Felt smaller than the pure steel one, but in all steel it was fine when I wore it for the first time at my last visit...

Great pics
From my point of view the 37mm look
better on your wrist

AP are bigger watches, so they should not fit like a calatrava etc. Given that, the jumbo looks perfect on you.

The jumbo has a wider lug to lug for it's diameter so it wears bigger than your average 39mm, but I think looks like the perfect AP for your size.

Now you just need 70k and an allocation, or many times that if you can't

Thanks guys, really appreciate the input! Hope things continue to cool down in the coming year(s) and I'll be able to purchase from AP directly or at pre-madness levels BNIB. OR is incredible, but ST would be easier to swallow tbh.

I think it fits just fine. Doesn't look big on your wrist at all.

I expressed my interest about three years ago, but my SA messed up my profile for some reason, so it was reregistered about 1 1/2 years ago.

Woooow!!! The 16202 looks absolutely GORGEOUS (in general as a watch), and sit well on your wrist. If you can get one in the next few years, go for it.

39 looks great on you. Think it wears similarly to your 5164
