Seiko Kinetic Auto Relay
Ive owned this watch for years after buying it in West Edmonton Mall Canada. A few years ago the capacitor went so it has sat dormant in my drawer for about 6 years. I've now had the capacitor replaced and its running nice. It has the usual wear marks and could do with a good overall polish. I have all the orignal box, papers etc that it came with. The greatest feature is the suspended animation which will remember the time for up to 4 years unworn. Not sure what to do with it now as I have too many other more modern watches. Any advice on if these are collectable or worthless these days? Thanks in advance.

With regards to the value, I don't there is much re-sale value. Send her on over to me, if you are going to give it away!!

I wonder if I could get away with the same response for some of the "higher end" watches in the sales forums?
What would be the best method of selling my watch then? Forums, ebay, private ads? |

I have a similar model. This is one of the best seiko movement in my opinion.
I bought this 12 years ago and it still working until now. I wear this nearly everyday and only had it service once. I use this as my day to day watch as my submariner only gets worn at weekend. If u dont know what to do with this, i am happy to take it as a seiko pair for mine Otherwise just keep it and use it everyday, as u and me know that it keeps the memory of time for up to 4 years PS: i am still waiting for the spring pin from ebay as the old came off

Thanks. I'll monitor a couple that are on ebay UK to see what they are going for. I have no idea of price as yet.
