Great post. They've done a fabulous job on it, it looks awesome. Was it the just the bezel, clasp and hands they replaced? I too love love the champagne / linen face btw

That is correct, the watch is 43 years old. It kept good time despite never being serviced. Not too sure if it was waterproof to Rolex standards though.

The bezel, clasp and dial are original.
Only replacements were hands, crystal, tube, crown.
I really like the champagne dial. It's classy!

We have Lake Mead!! Seriously though, I used to live in Pacifica CA. I drive down to San Diego to surf every other day off. Other than that there's Brianhead for snow season

After 43 years of no service it still ran okay, maybe gained 15 seconds a day. Just meant I got more bonding time adjusting the watch
