I need your help refining my watch collection!

Hi everyone,

Now that we’re entering 2018 i started reflecting on all my purchases in 2017.

It was a crazy year as I ended up buying everything I could get my hands on.

But I started feeling that it’s all about the quality and not the quantity, therefore I’ve decided to get rid of a couple and only keep the ones that would add something to the collection.

In addition I’m looking to add my first Patek ( Nautilus 5712) as well as an AP RO jumbo 39 sometime around Jan / Feb 2018 so the extra cash would help.

My current collection:

AP RO 15400st 41 white
>Rolex SKY-DWELLER 326934 BLUE
Rolex Deepsea DBLUE
>Rolex 116500 LN Daytona white
Rolex SD43 50th anniversary
>Rolex Sub 116600LV “hulk”
>Rolex GMT Master II BLNR “Batman”
>Rolex SD4000 116600 discontinued.
Rolex No date Sub 114060
Omega Seamaster PO GMT
>Omega Speedmaster Speedy Tuesday
Omega Seamaster cosmic 1967
>Seiko SKX009J

The watches marked with > are the ones im keen on keeping. Would be interesting to hear your opinion. What would you keep / sell etc.

I have a 16.5cm wrist size.

Apologies for not uploading any photos.

Amazing collection...Sell the Planet Ocean, redundant with all the Sea dwellers, I'd also keep only one of the SD43 and D-Blue

AP RO 15400st 41 white sell and get the Jumbo
>Rolex SKY-DWELLER 326934 BLUE
Rolex Deepsea DBLUE
>Rolex 116500 LN Daytona white
Rolex SD43 50th anniversary sell i'd keep the D-Blue instead of this one more special and a future collectors item + you have a discontinued SD4000
>Rolex Sub 116600LV “hulk”
>Rolex GMT Master II BLNR “Batman”
>Rolex SD4000 116600 discontinued.
Rolex No date Sub 114060 sell you already have a Sub
Omega Seamaster PO GMT sell you have a GMT that will always keep it's value and is more iconic, for me personally off the shelf new Omega's are less special
>Omega Speedmaster Speedy Tuesday
Omega Seamaster cosmic 1967 keep as a (only) dress watch always nice to have a true vintage classic watch
>Seiko SKX009J

Congrats on the collection, a first Patek will be something special!

I think I agree 100% with your “keep” list. Great collection. The 5712 and jumbo will make it even better.

I'd get the 5712 and 15202 and sell the ones you've marked, maybe keep the Sd43 too.

Nothing wrong with the AP you have unless you have tiny wrists and need the jumbo. Both hole their value, granted, not as desirable as the blue dial model.
Nice collection.
