93150 Bracelet costs
Just wondering if anyone has considered buying new 93150 bracelets & and end links from Rolex for their classics for everyday wear and security? Seems people are paying big money to restore their 93150's when I believe they are still available from Rolex. Has anyone tried to buy one if so what was the financial outcome?
Kind regards Davey |

Hi Davey, Rolex does sell them (here in Toronto), provided that you bring in a watch that was correct for a 93150. They cost $1450 (CAD) plus tax. So that's about $1640 after tax.

Some owners want to retain the "originality" of their watch and so repair, rather than replace, their original bracelet.

I spent $1450 for my replacement. The original had broken and a lot of wear. I decided to just opt for the original Rolex bracelet. The old bracelet gave 40 years of service. I handed over the 1680 Sub and the AD technician replaced it and gave me the old bracelet. I later sold the old bracelet for a fair price on this forum.

I had my original 9315 restored, rather than opting for a replacement. The rattling old folded links just feel right to me.

You need to remember the year will be stamped on the original bracelet. Its about having the correct year bracelet to go with the watch.

My local AD ordered me some 580 endlinks from Rolex, the cost was about $145 usd after tax if I recall correctly.

The date code is only on the clasp, not the bracelet itself. I have noticed that the older 93150’s and 78360’s have round end rings, while newer have a notched end link.. I’m curious if ordered new, with say 580 end links - if you’ll get the round or notched version...This would be a date identifier as I believe Rolex switched to notched in the mid 90’s..

93150 Bracelet costs
Quote:
I have seen 9315 and 93150 bracelets being listed for crazy prices. As well as 580 endlinks. I can walk in my dealer and order a new 9315 bracelet w/Tudor clasp? I wonder what those cost and can I get the 380 endlinks with it. I just picked up a Tudor Sub missing the bracelet. Having the correct new bracelet would be really great. |
