Bruno,

I have 5 in the stable and another landing tomorrow around lunch. They are just great and fun watches. I have watches that range from all black (murdered out according to CRIBS) to all white with teal accents and most in between.

I really do like throwing these on and just going.

IMHO, you can't go wrong at all with a G-Shock on your wrist M8.

I have become addicted to these G-Shocks, I just got the Gw-3000 ,and purchased the Orange Le Gw3000 band it looks sick!!!! Why they won't make this is as a color option is beyond me.. The red G-Shock I bought last week ,and really like how it wears. I maybe getting a couple more in the next couple weeks.

You got it bad. You might have to join GA and get some help.

But in all seriousness very good choices.

Thanks for the compliment!!! I think these things are addictive because of the price point. There aren't very many watches that can be had for a couple hundred ,and below that are versatile with pretty much everything ,and come in Rainbow colors. I want an all black one next.

Totally agree and great G's you got!! I used to pay three times as much for some Panerai straps.

All i seem to wear anymore are the G's, had a new one land in a trade for a strap yesterday and just traded away another strap for a Red Mudman and cash.

Love these things.

I used to wear my Rolex Mon-Friday and the Pam. on weekends but because I go to the gym everyday after work I started to feel uncomfortable working out in the Rolex and I didn't want to leave the watch in the locker or my car so I bought my first G. Now I wear a G Mon-Fri and alternate the Rolex-Pam every other weekend. I think its a safe bet that I will not buy another expensive watch for a long while. Maybe I'll win one.

I finally did it. Though, I went with an unexpected choice.

I liked the look and the features. Seems well integrated. A little splash of color, solar, multiband, etc. It's a big bastard though.
It's my new gym watch. The SD is still the all around beater!
Should be here Saturday.

GREAT choice!
When the G-Shock bug bit me, that was at the top of my list. Wound up getting my Pathfinder - which has all the Riseman features and a few more.

Great pick buddy!

I have a 5600 solar/atomic and a dw-5700 with a screw-on caseback from 1987. Also a non-G DW-280.

My nephew got a full ride ROTC scholarship, so the first thing I bought him was a nice Mudman.

One thing I've learned about the WIS community is that if you are into Rolex tool watches, you are almost always into Seiko auto divers and G-shocks. They just seem to go hand-in-hand.

Excellent choice Brian. You'll see how much wrist time that gets and you'll want another one next month. Might as well sell the rolex now.

Here she is. All this for $114 express shipped!
I skipped the atomic sync to save about $50. At some point, the correct time is the time it says on YOUR watch. I'm there.

I like it!

with or without atomic, 9200 Riseman is one of the best G-Shock Casio ever made IMO :-)

The close ups always look out of proportion.

I think it fits well. The really big ones are too big for me, though I do like a big white and blue tide graph "rescue" one.
to my G pals!

It looks like this thread will live on forever, Bruno. I just ordered my second G:

51yDk+11kWL__SL500_AA300_.jpg

Should be here by the weekend. It's amazing how excited a WIS can get about something that is costing me less than one hundred bucks shipped

Love the white Chris. You're excited because for the money you can not get more watch. And you can beat the living crap out of it with no worries at all.

Stress free that's my motto and my way of life.

Absolutely correct on all both counts, Bruno. Damn things are pretty addictive, too. I kind of figured you would appreciate the color based on your first one....
