Looks ok, but let's face it, this latest GMT looks nothing like as good as a coke or pepsi version would. Rolex have recognised the revenue opportunity of releasing this version first which will sell well before releasing the coke and pepsi versions which will then sell even more.

If they do release a Pepsi ceramic in the future, I hope they do away with the polished center links on the bracelet. |

Navy blue would have looked much better, and more masculine, IMO. This blue reminds me of my sisters bike, when I was a kid. lol. I'll stick with the black, until Rolex gets this right. I'll have to give this one a thumbs down, sorry.

"batman"?
if it were all-black, sure. anyway, it's okay, and it differentiates the GMT from the submariner a little more, so, why not? as for the shade of blue, i'll wait for real life to judge. that harsh display lighting isn't the best. |

Now that Rolex has perfected the Brown Ceramic Bezel on the new Daytona, could we soon see a new Root Beer GMT2 Ceramic?!

It's growing on me. I think it's safe to say Rolex still does their own thing, regardless of what we want or what people may think haha. It's good to see them creating a new history. Though fingers crossed for next year's basel!!! THE COUNTDOWN BEGINS! PEPSI/COKE 2014.
After all 2014 is the 60th birthday for the OG GMT Master 6542. Hey, a guy can dream. |

I like it. It's new and different, just like the Hulk. Go back and read the posts when that one was introduced, and you'll see plenty of people saying they hate it.

I really love it. Will work with a dark, dark suit and light blue shirt. I'm seriously saving for this one.

I'm with you there, but its not a big deal to brush the center links. Assuming the bracelet size doesn't change if they release a Pepsi, I still have an extra GMT-IIC bracelet all brushed and ready to attach. Maybe next year...but at least there is progress with the color mixing. |

I don't get the comments about this being a progression towards a Coke or Pepsi GMT. If anything this bezel shows you that Rolex 1. Does whatever they like and 2. Probably won't be offering a Coke or Pepsi for years...
To me, the GMT line is very confused right now. You have all the precious metal GMTs with green accents, you have this, and I am not sure what is going to happen to the green GMTIIC. Will it stick around, is this replacing it? I just don't see Rolex offering all sorts of a bezel combinations on this model at the same time which means the blue/black is here to stay for some time. Will the rest of the models in gold be re-tuned as well? Who knows. I was hoping for a discontinuation of the old GMTIIC, unveil a Coke and Pepsi version in SS, and leave the gold models with a black bezel and change the GMT hand back to gold and get rid of the green font. |

It's interesting, my initial reaction this morning was, "OMG, I must get one"!
Now, having spent the day looking at it both on the Rolex website and via the various 'live' photos, I've decided, I don't think I like it! I know this is virtual heresy but, for me, the colours just don't work. I LOVE the blue GMT hand and the loss of the green text on the dial is definitely an improvement but as to the blue/black bezel, I'm afraid it doesn't do it for me. Maybe I'll think differently when I see one in the flesh but, for now, my GMTIIC wins the day. That SS YMII however has got me drooling. . . |

On another note. I hope they updates the Lume from green to blue to match the watch.
