Well, the quick answer is NO because the Sea Dweller is off to RUSA in Dallas for routine service!

I've hardly worn it in the last year since my collection has had so many adds over the last 2 years. Plus, it reminds me of the company I was working for when I bought it who just laid me off last year after 10 years there and having just completed my 10th performance review that was flawless. I'm going to give it some thought while its with RSC, but I'm leaning strongly towards flipping it while it's fresh back from service. I've been looking at the Ti PO and the Pelagos for a while now and may just pull the trigger on one of those.

I'm in good shape watch wise - Blancpain, Omega, Breitling, Helson, Seiko, and Citizen.

The good news is that RCS estimated 4 weeks which is much better than the 3 months that Blancpain took.

No doubt about it! I missed one seam on the side of the box and had to tape that at the Post Office before they'd accept it.

Thanks! One of the companies I had set up a Joint Venture with while at my previous employer heard about my layoff and asked me to open a Denver office for them, so it did all work out in the end. That said, it was a real blow initially and put a lot of doubt in my head that took some time to work through. I recently hired a guy who went though a similar experience and having just experienced it personally, I think I've been able to help him work through his anger / confidence issues faster than expected.

Flip it, Roger. Someone here will snap it up, freshly serviced. Buy one you're eyeing and you can always go pick up a new (to you) SD that has no residual emotional baggage.

Agree, that kinda sucks about the negative attachment that's now come along with it...

Every nice watch needs a vacation away from it's owner to kick back at the spa and get in shape for the next 5-10 years.
