If Im still regularly wearing a watch after 3 years it would probably be a keeper.

Having said that I made money on all three of the Rolex's that I have bought & sold. If you buy the right Rolex models well and hold on to them long enough chances are very good you will at least break even on a sale. A trade is an entirely different story. Just my opinion but based on experience |

If your selling it for something that you would rather have then go for it but if it is sentimental then no.

If I still like the watch, then not likely.

However, I would insist on the fact that if you like the watch (which seems to be the case given that you have been wearing it everyday for the past three years) and still enjoy wearing it it wouldn't be a good idea.

I would sell it off if I didn't want it anymore, regardless of manufacturer or return.

Makes no sense. Not if I like it, and I like everything I buy. If I don't, it wont take me three years to decide, it's out the door in a month or two but maybe less.
My intention is to fall in love with my watch. |

I wouldn't sell just for the sake of selling. If you don't like it anymore, then yes.
If you can get your money back after 3 years, you'll be able to get your money out of it after 4, 5, 6, 7 etc... |

I'd have to say no. Unless I no longer wanted it or wanted something new more.
It's kind of like real estate was a while ago. I could have sold my house for 3 times what I paid for it. But in order to get something I liked better I'd have to pay much more than even what I could have got for my present one. In my case, I could sell my Sub that I paid $4,000 for new for about that amount or a little more. But to replace it, what would I have to pay? (~$8,000?). The Sub C is nice, but not twice as nice. |
