Beautiful watch! Love the white dial. Your wrist game worth more than your ride. Dare I say?

I'm mostly a vintage Porsche guy in summer but Canadian winters dictate an SUV. 2018 Audi Q7. Goes good with today's pick of 16618lb.

My car (2002 Mercedes) is dramatically cheaper than my watch collection. I live downtown in a city (Washington DC), so I walk everywhere or take the subway. However, I do have a 2002 Mercedes E320 for weekend errands. I bought it from the first owner, a local physician, who drove it for 15 years and had dozens of service records from our local MB dealer. Love it, but when driving it wearing my Daytona-C I often laugh to myself that my watch is probably worth 7x what my car is worth. More laughable, my watch collection is probably around 30x what my car is worth.

It has been hard enough for me to get comfortable not investing in securities the portion of my cash I put toward my collection of used SS sport model Rolex watches, which historically should not have a lot of depreciation potential. The idea of spending a lot of money on a car just seems financially dumb to me as it's a depreciating asset I wouldn't use much anyway. I am not at all saying buying a Rolex is an investment!!! But, depending on what you pay (which model you buy and if its used), it can be a "less dumb" way to spend your money than on a new car.

Thanks for the kind words, shofzr
Chaps name is Pascal but will need another look for his surname as pics not clear on the engine,
On Merc forum Pascal has build quite a few V8 AMGs,,,

Wanted a fun weekend truck to haul the kids around in so picked this up. Wanted something better performing and less common than a Raptor. I think there is a balance of overkill with the DSSD JC.

Spectacular truck, well done. I bet it doesn’t see any off-road in time…

I was going to start another build (this would have been my 4th) but found this one that looks like its never seen dirt. Was actually a show truck but has all the best parts. Saved the headache, time and money and pulled the trigger. This one will get well used in the desert
