L series daytona
Sorry for my confusion... I am new to the forum and new to vintage Rolex watches but a long time watch lover.
I recently turned 40 and decided my gift to myself would be a birth year watch. After realizing the model I want in my birth year was out of my budget I decided to search for the model I want, a SS Daytona. I am on the hunt for a zenith Daytona. My question is: Can a L50xxxx have a 225 bezel and a floating dial? Trey |

I feel like I should be able to find this answer via search but I have struggled to do so.
Any help? |

I doubt floating cosmograph dials came in that serial number range.

1976 (your birth year?) would be before the first of the Zenith Daytonas which was 87' I think.

Sorry if my post was confusing.
I gave up on the birth year idea but 1976 Daytonas are a bit out of my budget. So, I'm looking for a Zenith movement Daytona. I found an L-series with a L5xxxx serial number and a floating dial. It seems like that is too high of a serial number for a floating dial but I thought I would consult the experts. The watch also has a 225 Bezel. Trey |
