Rolex Turn-o-graph

Hi All just joined the forum, I'm looking at getting the 116264 turn-o-graph as my first Rolex. I've been looking online and there seems to be no price stability with the prices between $4500-$6300 is this normal for Rolexs? And what would I expect a good price to be? I've been offered $5600, but this seems like a lot compared to what's on the market and sold listings.

Last one is better to wait until January or are there still good deals in December.

Cheers

The TOG DJ was discontinued from the Rolex Master Catalogue around 2011/12.

The Turn-O-Graph is currently not in production anymore.

$5,600 for the 116264 in good condition with papers is a fairly normal price. I just bought a 116263 with box/papers for $6,150 which is also decent.

Not unusual to see prices all over the board on discontinued models. As to December or January having the better deals...doubt it. Remember, it's been out of production for several years.

Pricing depends on dial color; blue and white tend to be higher than black, also super jubilee higher than oyster. I paid about $4500 like 2 years ago for my gone 116264 black dial on oyster bracelet (full set)

If you're happy with the condition and servicing/polishing history, then $5600 in UK seems fair to me

It's not reasonable to compare to USA pricing. Rolex prices in USA are lower across the board.

Thanks for all the replies I'm settled on TOG there's something about it. I'm seeing a couple on the weekend for the first time face to face, so hopefully, I can get the price down to $5450 and I like it as much as the pictures! They both have minor scratches on the dial, but it's expected since they're 9 years.

Getting the exact same watch (Black dial and oyster love that combo) I wear suits mostly, but casual Friday's this will do well

Nice watch except for the bezel that has no ratchet, thus moves freely. Also, the black paint on the bezel fades easily and all too soon. No wonder Rolex discontinued it after a few years. I own one which I like a lot, I like the way it looks and the “idea” of it but the issues with the bezel keep it off my wrist.

The bezel seems pretty stiff on mine, but the face I can tell will happen. I'm not sure what I'll use this watch for yet. It may only be used for special occasions and weekends.

Speaking of the bezel the Rolex AD didn't know it was a model because of the numbers "Because Datejust don't have numbers". Don't know if this has happened to anyone else.

Always thought the first time someone would say it wasn't authentic would be because it's a Rolex and not the turn o graph, or maybe its becauseI look quite young haha.

Awkward 5 minutes educating the guy about his job with the help of google.

I'm a big fan of the Turn-O-Graph. I purchased this one new from an AD in 2011. It's a Z-serial. I was drawn to this particular configuration by the lovely rhodium grey dial. Super happy with this watch. It's worth spending some extra time to track down a pristine, full-set example. Regards, -Rick.
