The YM2 wears just fine, at 44mm it doesn’t seem like it on the wrist, and once you wear it for a week or so the others seem to small.. Also not as thick as the DSSD and I don’t really think it’s a big difference in 1mm

The OP can pull off both watches. I like larger watches.
I think the 40mm will be more comfortable in the long run and its larger lugs wears like a 42mm. That’s a very special quality. I found that to be the case with my Hulk. I wear a 44mm Panerai and 45mm Breitling often and the Rolex Hulk looks and feels similar in proportions unlike my older Classic Bluesy design that looked a bit small compared to my other larger watches.

[QUOTE=amh;8106443]I'm in the same boat, would like to try one on but ADs don't have it. If you must find something close to SD43 size for use as a preview try a Pelagos.
Yes, trying a Pelagos for comparison is a good idea. Very similar size, but the SD is heavier so keep that in mind if you find one to try. |

I personally don't like having GMT in watch rotation because I hate changing the dates on em. lol (no, I don't like keeping my watches on the winder) However, if I do get the BLRO, it will be my daily. So not too concerned with the tedious date changing. haha leaning: SD43 70% BLRO 30% at this time

BTW, can anyone confirm the dial diameter of 126600 is the same or bigger than that of 116660?
Many Thanks |

My first Rolex is the SD43 and I have around 6.5 inch wrists and while it seemed the 43mm was going to be too large (esp after reading all the worries in these forums and trying on the Deepsea) -- I soon realized this watch is just too perfectly balanced and after a month of wearing it, the 40mm looks way too small! I use to think I want a nice 40mm to knock around and always wear, but with the weight and look of the 43mm -- you won't want to go smaller (and almost think about going larger if they were able to proportion it better than the Deepsea)...had always liked the green sub growing up and was very close to buying the ceramic version earlier this year and after buying the SD43 I thought maybe I made the wrong choice -- but now I want nothing to do with that little green watch...

Obviously those straps have not been adjusted to your wrist size. I have 7.25" wrist too, however, different shape, so the size tells only half of the story. I am going to guess that you could easily handle Panerai (47mm) so it is a question of your comfort after all...
