126600 50th anniversary Sea-Dweller waitlist
I’m currently shopping around for this model and wanted to get an idea what the waitlist and timeframe looks like atvyour local AD is. My go to is saying early February and that putting me in front of the waitlist. Just curious and wanted to compare with other sources. Also when does Rolex lift the shipping hault they do every year during this time??

I put in a request for a SD43 in May of this year, just got he call last week for mine. I think it's really hit and miss, it depends on how well you know your AD, how much money you've spent through them, etc. Could be a month, or could be a year. You could pick one up from a trusted seller here and probably not pay over retail and actually save on tax.
I don't think Rolex has traditionally slowed down watches near the holidays (from my memory), I think that that was unique to this year, some say Rolex misjudged demand, or just met their quota for the year, and didn't really care if dealers had no stock to sell. Who really knows. Quote:

3-4 months will be the average wait time for the average customer, probably will be longer next year. Daytona is measured in years.
