19188: The rarest Oysterquartz of all?
Has anyone ever heard of Oysterquartz model 19188? Pretty sexy. Christie's sold one at auction for about $56k in 2015. It's hard to find pictures for this model because Christie's website for the sale incorrectly shows a description of a Cartier.
Oddly enough, the box and papers for this exact watch (serial R817612) went up for sale on eBay in 2017. Anyway, on with the pic! |

56K seems very inexpensive for that model spec.

That is a beauty, and I wish Rolex made a dial like this for the current DD 36, because I'd have it for certain.
