Agreed on all points but has anyone said this is an original 2.2M case? The overwhelming consensus is that it's not. My question is if this could possibly be an altered service case, hence the discrepancy on the serial number side.

If it's a 100% fake case then that's fine, but it's a good one if so.

I wouldn’t call this a “good” fake. This one is easily spotted as such.

Fair enough, but why did Heywood only say the numbers looked incorrect with no mention of the other engravings or the case itself?

I don't disagree. I'm just confused as to the lack of clarity in his response.

Re engraved....fake engraved....real case fake engraved....it’s BS it’s trash...if it’s original case it has been ruined with fake engravings

I didn't which is why I'm asking a genuine question and genuinely curious. How else does one learn otherwise?

So, is it a genuine case that's been re-engraved or a completely fake case? That's what I'm curious about.

If it is altered it is not original. If it isn't original it is fake.
